Delivered to the USAAF as aircraft No. 44-70384. Bought by Polarfly N.N.L A/S, Narvik, Norway and registered as LN-PAD on July 17, 1947. Bought by Wideroes Flyveselskap A/S, Narvik, Norway. Later bought by the Royal Norwegian Air Force as a replacement for c/n 783 and coded R-AI. Was fitted with floats and sent to Skattora AFB, Tromso on June 6, 1955. It returned to Horten October 12, 1955 for major inspection where it was refitted with wheel gear and sent to LKV, Sola AFB. It was in storage in Voernes in 1958 when it was ordered to be made ready for special duty within a week and was then transferred to 335 Squadron at Gardermoen. By September 11, 1958 it was stationed at Orlandet AFB and was offered for sale with 2519 hours on June 26, 1959. Bought by A/S Solbergsfly / Wideroes Flyveselskap on wheels December 9, 1959. It was given registration LN-TSR but this was not taken up. Sold to Fjellfly, Skien on July 9, 1963 and was registered as LN-BFN on July 17, 1963. C of A expired March 31, 1967 and it was sold to Turistflyg, Arjeplog, Sweden for use as spares..
